Signing ct Drobeta Tr Severin
City on Danube river, the capital of Mehedinti county, Drobeta Turnu Severin has a population of 104,101 inhabitants and an area of 57.43 km². In June 2023, the contract was signed for the project financed from European funds “CL 1 – Lot I: Extension and rehabilitation of water supply and sewage in Drobeta Turnu Severin”As declared subcontractor, we will execute the rehabilitation works from the project in total length of 9,195m – drinking water and sewage networks.
OBJECT 1.1.1 – 651m DN 400 mm, DN 600 mm and DN 1000 mm – CIPP rehabilitation of raw water supply pipes from the Danube river to the existing WTP;
OBJECT 1.1.5 – 2,932m DN315-DN 500mm – CIPP rehabilitation of the potable water distribution network
OBJECT 2.1.3 – 5,612m DN 250-DN900mm – CIPP rehabilitation of the sewerage networks

Rehabilitation of water main DN1200 for S.C. Compania de Apa Oltenia S.A – project CL-17
GRP relining and CIPP are two methods chosen to rehabilitate the upper part of main water pipe supplying Craiova city with drinking water. Our part of the project is located close to the capturing station in Isvarna. The diameter of the host pipe is 1200 mm. The section of 700 mm will be rehabilitated using CIPP method and 1600 m using GRP relining technology. The relining works have been already started this year, all the works are planned to be finished till the end of 2022.
Rehabilitation of water main DN1200 for S.C. Compania de Apa Oltenia S.A – project CL-22
We are happy to inform that we signed a new contract as a main subcontractor in project of rehabilitation of water supply pipe DN1200 for S.C Compania de Apa Oltenia S.A.
Works will be executed in the technology of the relining with GRP pipes. Total length of the project is 8.155 m. Works are supposed to be finished until Septembrie 2022. Until now we executed around 4km of relining and our works are going according to schedule.
Rehabilitation of main ovoid collector in Abrud for APA CTTA S.A. Alba Iulia
In Abrud, Alba Iulia, we are executing the rehabilitation of main ovoid collector 750/500 mm. For rehabilitation works we use MazurLiner UV, fibre glass liner cured with UV rays. These are the first installation works of total length of 3,6 km of the collector. Part of it will be renovated with GRP modules in technology of the relining. Works are planned to be finished until the end of 2021.
The preparatory works have been started in the beginning of the first wave COVID-19, in the most uncertain period for our business and the economy in general. Despite of restrictions we managed to organize the works and until now we executed 1,2 km of lining with CIPP and 180 m of GRP modules relining.
Personal changes in the management board
We announce that since May 2021 Mr Mariusz Iwanejko has taken over the function of Administrator of Blejkan Construct SRL. He replaced Mr Marek Borkowski, whom we would like to thank for his cooperation and great involvement in the development of the Company itself and BLEJKAN Group as well.
At the same time, we would like to announce that a General Director was appointed to the Company. Since May 2021 this function has been performed by Mr Wojciech Możdżeń.
We congratulate both our Colleagues and wish this new chapter of cooperation with the BLEJKAN Group will be a time full of success, inspiration and positive challenges.
We won’t slow down despite the pandemic
When in March this year The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared a pandemic, the world has almost stopped, many construction works have been stopped and projects have been suspended until further notice. However, we have not slowed down and still carry out renovation tasks despite being at increased risk, but simultaneously with caution at the highest level. We continue the previously started works.
The safety of our employees is the most important for us, that’s why we always, and especially in such a difficult time, care for their health, maintaining all safety standards and complying with sanitary requirements. We organize the work of our teams so that each person feels maximally safe and comfortable. In this uncertain economic situation, we also guarantee them a sense of economic stability.
At the same time, acting in these extraordinary circumstances, we cooperate with awarding entities, constantly implementing the tasks entrusted to us, confirming our status as a reliable and meeting deadlines company.
The COVID-19 pandemic, caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, is taking its toll all over the world, which is why we join the thanks addressed to doctors, nurses, rescuers and all those who often make everyday efforts to fight an invisible enemy.
We also thank the employees of the operators and owners of water and sewage networks, gas and heating networks, all companies whose services are crucial for the functioning of small and large towns in terms of securing utilities and drainage.
We believe that soon it will be possible to return to normal life, and we will continue to ensure that it does not interfere with any network failures.

Installation of long hat profiles in Bucharest
Our Romanian company BLEJKAN CONSTRUCT SRL, to meet the needs of the local water system operator company in Bucharest, started in November a record-breaking (on the Romanian scale) renovation of lateral connections using long hat profiles. The venture is unique for many reasons and is a great technical and organizational challenge. The renovation itself takes place in the historical center of Bucharest.
BLEJKAN at Ro-Ka-Tech 2019
On May 8-10 this year in Kassel (Germany), the Ro-Ka-Tech (Rohr-Kanalisation-Technik) fair was held. We couldn’t miss it – it is one of the most important events dedicated to the water and sewage industry and the trenchless sector in Germany. We were there as the BLEJKAN Group, presenting our brands: BLEJKAN S.A., BLEJKAN GmbH, ABIKORP, POliner and Marplast.
The purpose of the participation was to promote the Group as well as the subsidiaries and the products and services they offer on the German market. Our stand was very popular among visitors: they were interested not only in the new brand on the international market, but also our comprehensive offer.
During three trade fair days, we held numerous conversations with the guests of the event, acquiring new contacts and establishing cooperation with potential partners from many countries, including Germany, Italy, Portugal, Croatia, Turkey and Canada. We believe that new acquaintances will result in joint projects, and for the BLEJKAN Group this will be an opportunity to acquire new markets and gain new experiences.

We will take part in the 15th RO-KA-TECH fairs!
One of the largest water and sewage industry events in Germany – RO-KA-TECH is ahead of us. Every two years key players in the industry gather in Kassel to present their products and services related to conceptual work, production of equipment, construction and maintenance of the network and repair of equipment used in the water and sewage sector.
This year nearly 300 exhibitors will take part in the fair from 8 to 10 May. We will be there, together with four other companies from our group – BLEJKAN GmbH, ABIKORP, POliner and Marplast.
